

I love the spearish look of a lot of the 70's single fins. Quite a few of dad's boards from this era also had deep concaves and hard down rails the entire length of the board. I've ridden some of these boards from our collection and found them challenging to ride. Hard rails forward are sensitive and can catch in chop or if you mistime your turn. The release off the edge is nice though.
Peter and my father are still friends to this day, going surfing togther when they get the chance.
